We recently underwent an inspection from the Local Authority regarding how we ensure our students are safe in school when using IT. We are delighted to say we received a glowingly positive report about the quality of our E-Safety work.

We have, however, put in place some changes and new developments as we work towards an E-Safety kite mark.  We will be placing a range of resources and a short survey on the school web site to support and guide Parents and Students with E-Safety.

E-safety Policy

The Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is designed to protect students when using the computers and any other devices in school. At Bedlingtonshire Community High School we know that keeping children safe online is very important. Whilst at school we teach our students the knowledge and skills to stay safe however it is important that as parents / guardians you are aware of the potential risks as well.

This anonymous survey should take no longer than 15 minutes complete. The results of the survey will help to give us a clear understanding of the e-safety support we can offer to parents / guardians
