Anti-Bullying

Bullying is: Where someone repeatedly and on more than one occasion hurts you physically, by hitting or kicking you or verbally by name calling or teasing.

We are against all forms of bullying here at BCHS. We hold the local authority anti-bullying accreditation and the SSAT Global Diversity Mark. If you are a parent or student who has concerns about any form of bullying, please contact your form tutor, student services officer or Student Performance Leader in the first instance.

We have peer mentors who patrol school at lunchtime for students to speak to and three learning mentors who students can arrange appointments. Students can also leave a bullying related comment in the online bully box.

Our school’s ‘Anti-bullying Handbook for Parents’ provides a quick guide to parents on our anti-bullying policy. This can be downloaded using the link below.
